Summer Day Camp

The purpose of Summer Day Camp is to provide a safe, fun, supervised environment for children ages 5-13. Our camp program is a place where children learn and grow while participating in a variety of educational and recreational activities. We strive to provide a medley of experiences for our campers, while keeping our camp fee at an affordable rate.
The Shehan Center's Summer Day Camp combines traditional camp activities such as field sports, swimming, and arts & crafts with cultural and educational activities. All campers participate in computer class, Fun with Numbers, Little Scientist classes, photography, and reading/writing classes. Below are the activities and classes children are involved in when they come to summer camp:

Registration Requirements
Camp fees are determined by the parent's or guardian's 2010 tax forms. The sliding scale measures how much the parent/ guardian made in 2010 and then decides a reasonable fee per child.
Only completed applications are accepted for registration. A complete application consists of a recent medical form for each child (within the last 3 yrs.), physical with up to date shots, medication authorization form if child require medication, inhalers, and epipens, parent's/guardian's 2010 tax forms, completed registration form, payment, and field trip payment (optional.)
