Red Ribbon Ball

In conjunction with the Mid-Fairfield County Chapter of the American Red Cross, the Cardinal Shehan kicked off its first annual Red Ribbon Ball event in February 2006. Since then, the Red Ribbon Ball has continued to be a very successful and fun event each February! The 2010 Red Ribbon Ball was held in collaboration with Connecticut's Beardsley Zoo and was attended by over 225 people!

This black-tie event includes cocktails, dinner, dancing to the live music of Band Together, and a silent and live auction. There are varying sponsorship levels ranging from $1,000 to $10,000. Tickets are $150 per guest.

The Red Ribbon Ball also honors a community leader. In 2010, we honored Cindi Bigelow, President and CEO of Bigelow Tea, for her leadership and support of the Bridgeport area non-profit community.

The 2013 Red Ribbon Ball will be held on Saturday, February 23 at The Waterview in Monroe beginning at 6:30 P.M. This year's event will honor Bruce Silverstone, Vice President of Corporate Communications for Aquarion Water Company.
